A family-run tavern on the Pantego-Arlington line has spent nearly two decades building a loyal following. Mr. B's Burger Pub, tucked into a strip center near Rush Creek Centre at 2578 West Pioneer Parkway in Pantego, has operated as a family kitchen for about 20 years.

The menu centers on original third-pound burgers cooked to order. The Haley Burger draws particular attention for its five cheeses and crispy fried jalapeño slices, while a Mushroom Swiss Burger rounds out the beef lineup for guests who want something milder. A Reuben sandwich layers corned beef, sauerkraut, and melted Swiss on grilled rye, and a Texas-style Frito Pie gives the pub a Tex-Mex edge.

Shelly's fried green beans, named for a longtime staff member, have become one of the pub's signature sides. Dessert leans on Granny's homemade pies and a banana pudding that regulars order as often as any entree.

The pub keeps simple hours: Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., closed Sundays. Diners looking for a sit-down meal or quick takeout can call ahead at (817) 860-6727 to place an order or confirm current hours and specials.

Arlington has no shortage of burger options, from fast-casual chains to upscale gastropubs, but Mr. B's has carved out its own lane by staying small, staying family-run, and staying consistent. For residents hunting for a genuine mom-and-pop meal near the Pantego-Arlington line, the pub remains one of the area's more dependable stops.
